Flipkart vs Meesho shipping label layouts explained

Both Flipkart and Meesho often ship A4 PDFs that mix a courier sticker with invoice text - but the crop boxes are not the same. Using the wrong preset can cut barcodes or leave tax lines on the sticker.

Flipkart: bordered shipping box

Flipkart labels commonly sit in a clear bordered region on the upper part of the page, with invoice content below. Cropping should keep the full border, QR/barcode, and address block while dropping the tax invoice body.

If you crop too tight, station codes or AWB barcodes can clip. Always preview the first page after Label Crop before printing a long batch.

Meesho: wider band + rotation

Meesho shipping content usually spans more of the page width and includes product detail rows above the invoice. After cropping for 4x6, pages are often rotated so they print correctly on portrait thermal stock.

That rotation is why Meesho and Flipkart should not share one "generic A4 crop." Pick Meesho in Label Crop (or use Sort Meesho Labels when you also need SKU order).

Packing desk habit

Keep Flipkart and Meesho exports in separate folders for the day. Open Label Crop, choose the marketplace first, then upload. Mixing files under the wrong preset is the fastest way to waste sticker rolls.

Fields that must survive every crop

A usable shipping label needs the complete delivery address, AWB or tracking barcode, routing or station codes, order reference, and any courier-specific QR blocks. Meesho labels may also need Product Details rows for SKU, size, and quantity during packing.

The invoice heading is a useful crop boundary only when it appears below all required shipping information. Preview non-standard pages instead of assuming one coordinate works for every marketplace revision.

How to test after a marketplace layout change

When a seller portal changes its PDF design, process a small file containing different couriers and order sizes. Compare each output with its source and check the outermost text and barcode edges at high zoom.

Report the source marketplace, export type, affected page number, and a redacted screenshot when a boundary is wrong. Do not share an unredacted buyer address in a public support message.
