Why browser only shipping label tools are safer for sellers

Shipping label exports contain names, phones, and addresses. Many free "PDF crop" websites ask you to upload those files to a server. EcomCrop is built so the heavy work stays in your tab instead.

What sits inside a label PDF

Flipkart, Meesho, and Amazon packs are not blank templates they are operational documents with buyer PII and order identifiers. Treating them like public marketing PDFs is a packing desk risk.

Shared cloud converters may store uploads for "processing." Even short retention is more exposure than a local workflow on a dedicated packing laptop.

How local processing helps

In a browser only tool, JavaScript libraries read the PDF in memory, crop or stamp pages, and trigger a download from a blob URL. Closing the tab ends that session.

You still need basic hygiene: do not email raw label packs to group chats, and clear downloads from shared PCs after the shift.

What EcomCrop does differently

Label Crop, Sort Meesho Labels, Amazon SKU Injector, and Add Logo all run client side. We do not require an account to process files. The contact form is the place you intentionally send a message not your order PDFs.

Read the Privacy Policy for cookies and ads. Tool processing itself is designed to keep marketplace files on your device.

What local processing does not solve

Browser-only processing reduces server upload exposure, but the downloaded files still contain customer information. A shared computer, synchronized Downloads folder, browser extension, or unattended print queue can expose the same data after processing.

Use an access-controlled packing device, keep the operating system updated, review installed extensions, and remove completed label batches according to your order-record policy.

How to verify the privacy claim

Open the browser developer tools Network panel before selecting a sample PDF, then run a tool and confirm that the document itself is not sent in a request. The generated download should use a local blob URL created by the browser.

The site can still load normal analytics, advertising, fonts, or application assets as disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Those requests are separate from the PDF bytes used by the label processor.
